We are looking for an experienced freelance Project Manager to lead software development projects from intake to delivery for our clients in Belgium. Who we are looking for

Experience

7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager,** with at least 5 years managing software development projects. Proven track record in successfully delivering custom software and integration projects within scope, time, and budget.

Agile Team Player

Strong command of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional or hybrid project methodologies;** selecting the approach that best fits the project.

Technical affinity

Technical affinity with modern software development:** cloud, APIs, microservices, and CI/CD.

Stakeholder management

Stakeholder management up to C-level/executive level and experience leading steering committees. Budget and resource tracking, as well as risk and issue management. Proficient with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or MS Project. Experience as a consultant or freelancer within large organizations (government, finance, utilities, industrial sector).

Languages

Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is a plus
