Onsite Support resolves cases, called in from the user, in close cooperation with the user at site , in order to ensure the continuity of the user's everyday tasks.
Onsite Support carries out the 1st-level-support, according to the support process and other competence areas agreed with the customer.
Specific for this role :
Onsite IT Support in Shifts ( 5h35 till 22h ) for Time Critical Support ( Factory ) in Gent.
Availability is a key aspect in the Support organization as users need to be able to contact the Support team for urgent issues
Up to date administration ( ticketing tool ) is another important aspect
Communication is very important in this role , to the users and to the technicians in the Remote Team and in the other GROUP IT teams
Resolve incoming problems that are called in from the user via Remote Team , in close cooperation with the user at site and answer how-to questions from the user so that the user is able to continue his tasks.
Do the setup and the maintenance of the hardware and the applications that are used by the involved customers
Support in projects and requests for which the customer asks assistance and advice.
Assist in increasing the efficiency and quality of the work within Time Critical Support internally, in order to work cost efficient
Be Local Key person ( Site Technical Contact) within Time Critical Support for specific applications and infrastructure
General IT-knowledge: Extensive IT-knowledge of Network and good IT-knowledge of servers, PC's, Windows W7/W10
Good communicative skills
Fluent in Dutch and English
Main job : First Line On Site Support for Factory IT-Related cases
Other tasks : Local Key person ( Site Technical Contact) within Time Critical Support for specific applications and infrastructure
Willing to work during shifts (for this job especially late shift) and very occasional during weekends
